Over the years we have developed a unique approach for software services in a cross cultural environment and gained extensive experience on the do’s and don’ts of both on-site and offshore activities. We have also gained significant expertise in local employment issues, work- and residence permits in several European countries, and our clients see these USP’s as the justification for our presence in the market.Our set-up means that our clients need not make concessions in terms of results, quality and throughput, and waste little time and energy, relying on Softlines organising this process reliably and efficiently. Likewise our staff is supported in various ways to ensure a successful cultural and geographical transition, leaving them to fully concentrate on our clients needs and the job in hand. As a standard we only employ staff with University level education and a minimum of 5 years experience. Deliberately we keep the size of our business in tune with the support requirements of our staff and clients. The style of management in Softlines is very personal and personable and lines of communications are short and direct. Our staff is selected not only by virtue of technical expertise and relevant work experience but also on the basis of their social, cultural and language skills. This awareness in conjunction with our dedicated training system and close project support enables our employees to work success fully in an international environment and adapt quickly to different circumstances and practices. Softlines does not shy away from project responsibility. If called upon we can run certain projects successfully ourselves. Through our project services we can help you extend the scale of the high level development & testing resources which you have at your disposal. This will alleviate either existing or anticipated manpower shortages or allow you to free some of your internal capacity for new core activities or mission critical development cycles. As most of our software resource base is on the Indian subcontinent, you can profit from extra cost advantages especially when a substantial amount of the work is done offshore. In this way you should be able to cut your development costs by a substantial amount. |
